Free Meditation Timer

Meditation clock

A meditation timer that behaves like a clock: big, dim, full-screen, and silent until the bells speak.

10:00

A clock, not a dashboard

Most meditation apps show you streaks, courses, and a notification badge while you are trying to think about nothing. This page is the opposite: a large ringed countdown you can see from across the room, a soft dark background, and nothing else on screen. Press Fullscreen and the browser chrome disappears too — what is left looks like a small altar clock.

It works like a clock in one more way: it is honest about time. The countdown is anchored to the system clock, so what it shows is exactly how much sitting remains, even after a background tab or a dimmed screen. On compatible laptops a wake lock keeps the display on for the whole session.

Using it as a daily clock

Bookmark this page or add it to a phone home screen and it becomes a one-tap meditation clock. The bell, interval, and duration you last chose are remembered on your device — most people settle on one setup and never touch the controls again.

Common questions

Does full-screen mode work on phones?

Yes on most modern phones; where a browser refuses full-screen, the page is still dark and minimal enough to serve the same purpose.

Can I dim the display further for evening sits?

Turn your device brightness down — the design keeps contrast readable at low brightness. There is no separate night mode because the page is already dark.

Is this a ticking clock?

No — silence during the sit, apart from the optional interval bells you choose. The countdown updates quietly in the ring and the digits.
