The screen becomes the timer: dark, silent, and empty of everything except the time that remains. Press Fullscreen when the opening bell sounds.
The timer has ended — 10 min of stillness.

This timer is free and stays free. If it helped, pass it on.
Full-screen meditation is exactly what it sounds like: the timer takes the whole display. The browser's tabs, address bar, and bookmarks disappear, the page stays near-black, and one large ringed countdown is the only object left. With nothing else visible there is nothing else to check — no notification badge, no open tab, nothing one glance away.
Press Fullscreen under the timer, or the F key, once your sit begins. When the closing bell sounds, the page leaves full-screen by itself — the screen returns to the world the same way the opening bell sent you out of it.
Most meditation apps fill the session with sunsets, quotes, and progress rings. This one treats the dark screen as the point: a meditation timer's job is to hold time and get out of the way, so in full-screen mode the digits are dim, the ring is a thin line, and nothing moves except the time going down. On supporting laptops the display is kept awake for the whole sit, so the screen does not dim halfway through a longer session.
On Android and desktop browsers, yes — use the Fullscreen button or the F key. iPhones do not let a web page take over the whole display; there the page is already dark and everything except the timer fades away during the sit, which serves the same purpose.
Press Space to start or pause, F to enter or leave full-screen, and Escape to end the sitting early. In full-screen, Escape first returns the screen; the sit keeps running until you end it or the bell closes it.
It is the same practice with fewer hooks on screen. If a visible desktop or browser pulls your attention during sits, the dark full screen removes the pull; if it does not, the normal page already fades to almost nothing while you sit.
